1) Elvis Presley Wearing Hamilton Ventura in Blue Hawaii

The legend that popularized the rock and roll genre of music wore a handpicked Ventura model for his 1961 film Blue Hawaii. The film set in the backdrop of Hawaii, featured Presley in the role of an army officer named Chad.

The musical with romance and comedy interspersed in it had Presley wearing the Ventura in multiple scenes including his introduction scene where he is shown to be returning to Hawaii after his military tenure.

Hamilton launched a new version of the Ventura, naming it Ventura Elvis80 Auto in commemoration of Presley, who would have been 80 in January 2015. Ventura Elvis80 Auto features the famous asymmetrical face, and a lustrous jet-black design.

The stainless steel curved case is surrounded by a black bezel with a black crown completing the face setup. The model is powered by Hamilton’s in-house mechanical self-winding movement with 80 hours of power backup. An open case back gives a view of the movements inside the watch.

2) Matthew McConaughey Wore Hamilton Khaki Pilot in Interstellar

Directed by ace director Christopher Nolan, Interstellar, released in 2014, is a story of humans entering the wormhole – a spatial element believed to serve as a connecting bridge between two different destinations in space–seeking alternative shelter for humankind.

The science fiction movie had Mathew McConaughey in the lead playing Cooper, an ex-NASA pilot, who is entrusted with the mission of seeking answers to human survival in space.

Released in 2015, this science fiction movie, directed by Ridley Scott, features talented star Matt Damon in the role of an astronaut, Mark Watney. The plot revolves around Mark and his team who are on a mission to Mars.

After a disaster, Mark finds himself alone and stranded on Mars, presumed to be dead by his teammates. How Mark goes about surviving on an alien planet even while struggling to inform of his whereabouts to his team, forms the story.
